Primary Montessori Day School

It is our fourth year since my daughter has started attending  Primary Montessori school. It's been such a great experience and she really enjoys every day of her school life. There is no day when she comes home without bringing news about an interesting project or team work or a field trip. I would highly recommend this school to anyone who is looking for great educational experience and nurturing and safe environment for his or her child.

We had both our son's at Primary Montessori Day School in the primary classes as well as the elementary class. This year we are sending our daughter. Our experience at Primary Montessori has been excellent ! The school provides a safe and secure environment for all the children. Primary Montessori has instilled the love of learning in my children. Academically I have seen my son's excel under the guidance of the teachers.  My sons loved going to this school and I look forward to many positive experiences for my daughter.  The teachers are caring and nurturing. They very quickly identify a child strengths and weaknesses and provide guidance for both academics as well as social development.  The beautiful and clean classrooms provide a very comfortable learning space.   I highly recommend this school to parents who want their children to learn at a Montessori school.

My youngest daughter has been with the Primary Montessori Day School since she was two. She will be a rising kindergartner this coming Fall.  Ever since the very first day I walked in school building for a visit, I fell in love with the school's cozy homey atmosphere, wonderful smiles from each teacher, art decor throughout all classrooms. Without any doubt and any further school visit, I made an immediate decision that the Primary Montessori Day School would be the place for my daughter.

For the past three years, my daughter has blossomed into an independent little person with full of curiosities and her academic progress in school has exceeded far beyond my expectation especially for this past Pre-Kindergarten year.  As an experienced mother of four, I am impressed with the high quality Montessori program school has provided.

I am a strong believer of the Montessori principle that child centered education through observations and the Primary Montessori Day School has brought all to its excellence. My daughter learned so much in school and our whole family actually shared quite a lot her experiences as she has brought back from school with cooking receipts, little experiments, fun facts, etc.  She started reading on her own and has shown her interest in number games.   I am so thankful that my daughter has had all the wonderful experienced Montessori teachers who has nurtured her throughout years. My family felt at home every time when we attended school's activities and never wanted to leave.  A couple of weeks ago, we attended ice cream social and my daughter's class put together a great show. I was impressed that kids were able to sing so many songs and they remembered all dance moves!

Both my daughter and my family are looking forward to another great year!

We LOVE Primary Montessori Day School.  We've been with this school for nine years, when my oldest daughter started as a three year old.  She stayed through Elementary and now our younger daughter is about to complete kindergarten and move to the elementary room.  The holistic Montessori education children receive here is amazing and sets the bar so high!  This school takes young children in and helps them grow into confident, kind and smart learners.  Both of my girls have learned to love learning.  They are happy, curious and broad thinkers.  I cannot say enough fantastic words about the school, its teachers and its wonderful environment.

Both of my kids (7 and 5 years now) attended Primary Montessori and it’s a school that I would highly recommend. The teachers are knowledgeable, attentive to each child’s specific needs, and are genuinely passionate in helping the students learn and to develop their interest for learning. The teacher assistants and administrative staff at Primary are also wonderful, I honestly can’t think of any issues I’ve had with the school or any individual staff in the 5 years that my children were there.

The teacher-student ratio is low, each child’s developmental/academic progress are tracked and detailed reports are provided to the parents on a regular basis. The facility is quite new, classrooms are bright, clean, and equipment/learning-aids are always organized. In addition to the day-to-day classes, there are many fun (and free) events that are hosted for the children and their parents, which I really enjoyed (i.e., pajama party, ice-cream social, mother and father nights, love and logic seminars, etc). During the many times that I’ve visited the school, kids there seem well behaved and most important of all, happy.

Primary Montessori has certainly met and in many ways, exceeded, my expectations. It provided my children with a safe and positive learning environment, and the quality of the school’s Montessori approach has really helped my kids in preparing them for the long academic journey ahead.

I loved this school when I toured it. Out of all 10 that I toured, PMDS stood out. It has a wonderful atmosphere unlike any other school - very large and bright classrooms, clean and organized, caring teachers and quality child development program. I enrolled my daughter despite the negative reviews and I&#39;m glad I did. She loves it, got adjusted very quickly, and I see the kindness and care and the fun educational activities she&#39;s getting there. They want to be the best school, so they may have more &#34;rules&#34; but if you&#39;re an engaged parent and follow all the communication you shouldn&#39;t have any issues. I am very thankful I found this school and feel comfortable taking my little one there in this pandemic environment, which they are handling very well. All around great school!

Love, care, personal attention, educational excellence, the highest standards. Those are few words that come to my mind when I think about PMDS. When we were looking for school for our son, we were worried, as he didn&#39;t Speak English (3 years old). In addition, he is always trying to do everything by himself, and of course, as every parent that loves his/her kids, he is very special to us. All our worries proved to be wrong, he started picking up language right away (yes, he wasn&#39;t able to speak in English freely right away, but he was comfortable communicating with teachers, school staff and other kids). The education process is amazing (yes, Montessori school curriculum and its logic is special and great by itself), but I need to add that the staff is the key that makes this process to work. We see how the teachers and their assistant care about their classes (it seems that the kids in the class are their own :). Cultural and educational diversity is amazing. When asked what would our son would like for his 4th birthday, he asked for the anatomy and astronomy books... <br>Even before whole COVID pandemic, the school&#39;s policies and procedures in place made us very comfortable. Yes, kids do get sick, but we could see that the kids health is monitored closely and every single health related procedure is followed to a T.<br>We strongly recommend this Montessori school...
