An amazing culture of care for each and every student. I only wish I had a school this caring, thoughtful, loving, and progressive when I was a child. The staff is truly dedicated to educating and inspiring the children. The school community is wonderfully diverse and inclusive. This is a very special place.

Welcome to my nostalgic review of my elementary school.  Actually, it goes back farther than that since I began my nursery school education at two. My college education didn&#39;t enhance my knowledge as much as my pre-K through 4th grade at Montessori - this is where I picked up the essential academic and real world skills.  Here is where I learned that the stuff my parents taught me at home really was important.  In addition to learning to decode, compute, analyse and create, we focused on independence, social skills and responsibility - including being responsible for our own educations.  And it was FUN. In the Montessori circuit, this school is well-known.  When I mention my background to my children&#39;s current Montessori teachers or administrators, their faces light up.  It&#39;s also popular among city parents, some of whom have their kids on a long waiting list from birth.  Since they opened their doors in 1963, they&#39;ve engaged a lot of kids&#39; curiosities, from preschool to junior high. And besides, I met Carlos P. here.
