Montessori on the Lake

School is nice but it&#39;s NOT a good fit for special kids. These kids need more care and attention which this school may not be able to provide. There will be an evaluation period to test if the child fits their program, but the problem is their faculty will not want to work with the child that require attention and redirection in the long run. So if you have a special child perhaps there are other programs that are better.

MOTL is an absolutely wonderful place and experience for our preschooler, who has attended for over 2 years and is heading to K in August. She has grown so much socially, emotionally and mentally since attending and is well prepared for K. Teachers are all fantastic and brings a smile to our daughter&#39;s face when we chat about them. Administration is flexible and accommodating, especially during the unknowns and pressure of the recent pandemic. It&#39;s a clean and beautiful facility on the lake, with super rad playgrounds. I also find it to be pretty affordable compared to other Montessori schools in the area.  It has to be unbelievably difficult to run a school, having to deal with high parental expectations, and they handle communications pretty well. What a great place to have a child go during their early years!
