Montessori at Brookstone

Choosing to send our kids to Brookstone Montessori has been the best decision we’ve made. Our oldest son started thriving within weeks of his transition to the school and is above grade level in many subjects now that he’s in elementary school. Our youngest son is also thriving and extremely independent thanks to the independent learning style that comes with a Montessori set up. The children are also in class with kids in a variety of age groups so they learn to interact and help each other with lessons.

We have had the most amazing experience at Montessori at Brookstone. Our first born has been attending since he was 3 years old and will be graduating at the end of this school year. The development we have seen has been nothing short of amazing. The structure in the classrooms and the montessori method instills a love of learning. Having a Primary classroom with ages 3 - 6 allows for the younger kids to learn from the older and the older to learn patience and leadership skills when teaching the younger. The consistency of one teacher for several years cannot be emphasized enough. The teachers have a true passion for what they do and have been at the school for 20+ years will very little turnover. We didn't even try to put our second born in a traditional daycare. We wanted the same consistency, small classroom and so much love and attention as we have had with our first. And Montessori at Brookstone is where we know she will get it. My friends are amazed at the things my children can do at their respective  young ages and their manners, and general respect for others is truly a testament to this incredible school and staff. We cannot recommend this school enough. Thank you Ms. Grier and Team for continuing to show passion and love for our children every day.

We absolutely love this school for my son. After taking him to a different Montessori school for a trial week, where he wasn’t treated with kindness it is a HUGE breath of fresh air to bring him to a school that is filled with teachers that he loves AND that love him. I feel 100% comfortable leaving him with them. The front office staff is also very knowledgeable about each student and just so kind.

My son is very reserved and takes quite a while to warm up and the teachers are so patient and loving with him as it relates to that.

Not to mention the learning that he gets here on a daily basis. It’s immense. Everyday he says he’s learned something new. And I’m so amazed at his advanced learning. He is 3 and reading.

I can go on and on but I will end it here. I love this school. It’s like a small family and was the perfect decision for my family and I.

My older son started here when he’s almost 4 and he’s 5 and half now for Kindergarten. He loves the teachers and wants to go to school everyday. He’s also thriving academically. My 2 year old will attend this school soon.

Horrible. The administration staff are extremely judgemental! Teachers are very bias towards girls. Save yourself some stress and go a different route, this is NOT like a typical Montessori, this is run like a private Christian school and if you do not share the boomer ideas of the administration staff you will never get in. Playground equipment is in poor and rough condition. Female teachers are bias to little girls and boys seem to get little attention when learning in the classroom. If you have a boy he will be written up for disruptions, but if a girl hits a boy... I was told when a girl kicked my son "that's what he gets, he was bothering her".

Montessori at Brookstone has been a second home for my children.  The teachers and the stuff have cared for them as if they were the most important and unique children in this world.  The level of care, love and dedication that they have towards my children definitely exceeded my expectations. My children&#39;s everyday life skills, manners, communication, and relationships with others have improved in a manner that I would had never imagined possible. Because of the foundation provided at this school, I have no doubts that my kids will be happier and better people in the future.<br>We&#39;ll be forever thankful to the teachers and to the stuff for everything they have done for our family.  I would HIGHLY recommend this school to all parents!!<br>Maria Castan.
