Heritage Montessori School of Lake Forest

Both my kids have been going to Heritage for three years now. We toured a bunch of other Schools before deciding to go with Heritage. From the architectural design with spacious bright rooms to probably the nicest playgrounds I have seen (lots of shade) to the quality of their materials and their dedicated teachers. I have to say summer camp are my kid's favorite. Huge shout out to Ms. Maryam and Ms. Mano. And to Dr. M for running a wonderful and fun learning environment.

When my family moved to the Great Park, we visited several preschools looking for a place for our then 2-year-old. Of all of the schools, we were most impressed with Heritage Montessori Lake Forest. Despite walking in without an appointment, the director, Dr. M., immediately accommodated us with a tour. The campus is beautiful and clean. And because of the design of the buildings, we were able to tour the campus without interrupting any of the classes. The staff is friendly and helpful. They have a dedicated K-1 program separate from the preschool. We went in thinking we were looking for a place just for our 2-year-old and wound up enrolling our kindergartener as well. Both boys have grown tremendously both in practical and academic skills. We couldn't be happier with our choice to enroll our boys at Heritage Montessori Lake Forest.

Heritage is one of the most beautiful schools I have ever seen.  Not only is it beautiful on the outside, but it is impressive on the inside too.  The staff is nurturing, highly qualified, and creative.  My daughter loves going to school and often does not want to leave, even at 5pm when I pick her up after work.  When I am at work, I know she is safe and learning the skills she needs to be successful as a student.  There is a wonderful balance between just being a kid and academics.  If you are looking for a school that is organized, clean, nurturing, and highly qualified, then Heritage is for you.

Heritage Montessori is an excellent school. I wish there was a 4.5 star option. My son absolutely loves going here but most importantly I see that he is developing at a very fast pace. The facility is beautiful and is very clean. I think that the teachers are great, and my only reason for not giving them 5 stars is due to the turnover of the teachers and assistants that occurred the past 6 months or so. We absolutely loved our son's primary teachers when he first started going to the school and without any notice it was an entirely new staff in about a span of a month or so. I do like the new teachers but my son still asks for his original teacher Ms. Sharon and I have no idea why or when she left. Overall I would highly recommend Heritage.

My daughter has been attending Heritage for the last couple months and is age 2. We did an extensive search of montessori schools in the local area including Irvine, Lake Forest, and Mission Viejo, After 2 visits to Heritage, we decided it was the ideal choice. We were looking for a school with a true montessori model, an attentive staff, enriching environment, and even small details like shade in the play yard for scorching hot summer days. Heritage had all of the above and more. Starting our daughter at Heritage has been a great decision. Since attending Heritage, my daughter has improved her vocabulary (my daughter walked early but seemed to talk much later), socializes better with her peers, and seems more confident and independent. When I pick my daughter up from school, it's nice to hear her chat with me about her day and the fun she had or projects she worked on or her ABC's. Heritage also sends out great photos when they have campus events, like valentine's or Chinese new year. Like I said, Heritage was a great decision for us and we couldn't be happier.
