Foothills Montessori School

My daughter is given the range to explore what is important to her while still being guided and taught.

We have a brilliant 5 year old that has been going there for about 18 months now.  The school and staff are amazing.  How they've handled the pandemic is second to none.  My kid is so far advanced in his learning and education that it constantly astound his mother and I.  The Spanish immersion program is amazing and my son's accent and vocabulary had far surpassed mine already.  Couldn't be more happy unless they decided to serve food and snacks due to the fact it's the only my wife wishes were different.  You can't put a price on the early development of your child so please consider this school.

Foothils Montessori is a wonderful school and it really feels like a big family to us.

My daughter absolutely loves her teachers. The school really makes learning a fun and enjoyable experience. This is our fourth year there and we couldn't be happier.

It brings me joy to have a child that comes home everyday proud of her work and her progress. Best of all, she is happy, and that's the most important thing to me.

I did extensive research to find the best school for my daughter and it was worth all my time and energy because I made the right choice. Foothills is the best school in Henderson and Las Vegas without a doubt.

My son has attended this school for 3 years in the primary program and will continue into the 1st through 3rd grade program. He has he been very successful as a student academically and socially and loves to go to school. He left kindergarten reading chapter books, adding, subtracting, writing and doing multiplication and division. The teachers are outstanding. The staff are the best. It is a second family.

This is the first year for my two kids at Foothills Montessori. My family can’t be happier so far with the new school. We recently moved to Henderson. My wife and I were a bit worried about their transition at the beginning but not anymore. My kids are happy almost every day except for some Monday mornings. They come home very happy talking about new things they learned every day. All the teachers are so caring, focused on kindness, focused on social-emotional development, and academically encouraging. I don’t think we could have found a better school than this wonderful school with wonderful faculty and fellow parents!

I love living in Vegas but I was concerned about sending my daughters to school here ...until I found Foothills Montessori School. FMS offers a nurturing and thoughtful learning community. Words fall short to explain how amazing the staff and teachers are. The amount of preparation and thought that goes into creating the work and classroom environment at FMS is astounding. I believe it is the best schooling option in Vegas both academically and socially. My daughter loves it here and is learning skills that are essential to life. Our daughter is shy, an observer who waded into school slowly. The teachers--intuitive, sensitive, and lovingly firm--have managed to both value her sensitive nature and encourage her to stand up for herself and verbalize when she is uncomfortable about something. Foothills Montessori School gives children the time, opportunity and resources to be the best that they can be. There is a true commitment to the method of Montessori. The Parent Teacher Organization is top notch and provides families many ways to get to know each other. The seamless movement between parents and the school is one of the most impressive aspects of FMS. This year we&#39;ve enjoyed many PTO organized events: a book fair, Fall Festival, Movie Night, a themed Family Dance, Fun Fridays and more. FMS exudes a culture of respect and consistently goes above and beyond to serve their students. I&#39;m thrilled we found FMS and highly recommend the school to other parents...FMS is a hidden gem in Vegas.

My daughter has been at FMS since preschool and is now in 4th grade. During that time, my admiration for the curriculum and staff has grow with each year as I watched her prosper. I have watched each administrative change seamlessly implemented with care and attention focused on benefitting the learning environment. Each year, I can see how the curriculum challenges my daughter and excites her curiosity to fit her learning into the real world. Each staff member has never failed to impress with professionalism, kindness, and concern. I knew my daughter loved school and learning. However, as my daughter moved to 4th grade and was oriented to more challenging curriculum and expectations, her love for learning and FMS expanded exponentially to a level that amazes me. Every day when I pick her up, she excitedly tells me about what she learned and what she will be learning next. When considering my daughter&#39;s future, I could not imagine trusting any school more than I trust FMS.
