Guidepost Montessori at East Village

What a great experience we&#39;ve had so far with Guidepost East Village! Our 3-year-old boy has settled into the Children&#39;s House extremely well -- he loves heading to school each morning, is excited to spend time with his classmates and teachers, and has noticeably improved/developed a number of skills since starting this fall. His social abilities have improved, he&#39;s able to focus longer during solo play, and has developed more independence when completing tasks.<br><br>The entire staff has been helpful, responsive, and loving towards our son. They provide regular communication and pictures of the kids, are easily reachable, and are very helpful/professional when troubleshooting issues.<br><br>We have had an excellent experience and are excited to continue our family&#39;s journey with Guidepost East Village!

I visited the new location of Guidepost Montessori last week and was pleasantly surprised by the space. No one would guess from the outside that it is so big. It is a long space with large windows, with plenty of sunlight everywhere. There is a lot of didactic material, everything brand new and meticulously organized. I like the quality of the materials, mostly wood or cloth. The teachers were warm and professional, they connected very well with my toddler. I left him alone playing with them and he looked very enthusiastic. I had a chance to discuss about methodology, development goals, and the conversation could have gone on for hours. I don&#39;t have prior experience with Montessori but what I saw in my first visit goes above my expectations. This is really a VIP daycare for kids. I am confident it is a safe place to entrust my son. Looking forward to their official opening for classes.
