Guidepost Montessori at Centennial

Many of these negative reviews appear to be related to the upfront communication. There is clearly a problem with enrollment that needs to be resolved, which is a shame because the teachers here are wonderful and deserve better reviews. We are so happy with Miss Sarah, Miss Jen, and Miss Alysia. They helped our children transition into the school and have been amazing ever since. The structure and curriculum here are great. This school has been a breath of fresh air after the craziness with our last childcare center.

SAVE YOUR CHILDREN and family from the stress of enrolling with this location! Deceptive enrollment practices, complete lack of communication, slow to refund $2k, & have caused immeasurable stress for our family. They gladly took our money in March 2022 and led us to believe we had a secure spot for enrollment in January 2023. My wife and I became concerned after several failed attempts to reach them and confirm our enrollment as the date approached. We were promised a phone call but only received a short email informing us that they could no longer enroll our child on the agreed upon date. This was only 90 days out from our enrollment date. They were completely unempathetic and took over two weeks to refund our money. We hope other local families do not go through the same experience. Highly recommend looking at other local options well in advance.

I’ve read through the reviews and would like to say, I think Stephanie screwed everything up. She booked us for infant care starting in January and we were informed yesterday by Jeremy that they no longer have a spot for us.

Jeremy let us know he replaced Stephanie recently. He said he has a spot available for us in July. We unfortunately need to look elsewhere as we cannot wait - he apologized many times and said he would get our refund rolling immediately.

I appreciated his quick response and turn around so we can have the money to find something new! I will consider re enrolling my child in the future when timing us better.

Do not enroll. This school has a lack of integrity and accountability. The administration is significantly unorganized. They left us without childcare due to switching the enrollment start date 5 times!! Then when we requested our $2000 deposit back, a spot magically opened up. Sketchy!! They have also had a significant amount of turnover just in the few weeks I have communicated with them. Just because it’s “Montessori” it does not mean high quality.

I have to give my 2 cents about this place as a parent with children here and now an employee. We have had our oldest involved with Guidepost for almost 2 years now and we absolutely love the whole set up. He is thriving because of how they have the curriculum laid out and following the Montessori foundations is incredible. We moved our oldest to the Centennial location in July and also added our infant in late July. The transition was flawless and I was very thankful for the transparency of both locations about what was going to be needed to make sure the transition was smooth for Matthew. I also wanted to share that in terms of paperwork, we read everything! We knew going in that whatever deposit we put down was non-refundable because we saw it on the cost breakdown page that we had to sign. I mention this because it is a good bit of money, but it says in the form that we all sign that it is non-refundable.

Now that I work here, I see how incredibly amazing these people are! This new location is constantly working so hard to make sure families and children are taken care of. In all honesty, we are working out the kinks here and there because we are still in the building phase…we’ve been open since May. There were construction and licensing complications that pushed back the open date that were completely out of the staff’s control. Once things were fixed and all in order, it was good to go!

We were told we had a slot for our newborn and put $2000 down for this slot that was supposed to be for Jan/Feb 2023.  We reached out after our child was born and they told us we have no slot and they don&#39;t have availability until October of 2023.   They didn&#39;t even tell us, we had to contact them. I stopped looking at other daycares and doing any deposits because they told us we had a slot. They put our family in a terrible position to try to find last minute daycare when we were trying to get ahead of it.  The Google reviews reflect this.  They did this to MULTIPLE FAMILIES.  Maybe once you&#39;re in it&#39;s fine, but if you&#39;re being told you have a slot later, there&#39;s a good chance you don&#39;t.   It&#39;s an awful business practice to take money and basically lie about their classroom availability.

Potential new families beware! We are so incredible disappointed and appalled by the lack of communication by Guidepost Centennial, causing us to now be out of childcare at the end of my maternity leave. We signed up for infant care in February of 2022, confirming a spot for January of 2023, and paid the $2000 deposit. In May, an email came from head of school Stephany with updates on infant room capacity. I emailed back to confirm our son would still have a spot in January of 2023, and she confirmed in writing that he would. After the birth of our son, I emailed Stephany again on 8/31 with this same initial question with no response, left a voicemail for the school on 9/28, and had to call again on 10/4 where Stephany finally answered the phone and told me someone would call me to discuss updates. Rather than the courtesy of a call, we received an email notifying us that we wouldn&#39;t have a spot almost a YEAR longer than what we&#39;ve been quoted and told repeatedly for over 7 months. If we hadn&#39;t been persistent in communication and reaching out ourselves, would we have found this out at all?! Other daycares in the area are also on significant waitlists well over a year, which again, is why I tried to confirm with Stephany in May that we&#39;d have a spot. And when she did, we took no action to seek other options. If communication before even starting is this poor, I&#39;m just glad we avoided putting our son in care here for the longterm. It took two weeks to get the refund of our $2000 deposit as well.
